This product is intended to shred garlic, ginger, or anything else that needs shredding. Just rub the food on the grooves to start shedding. If this product interests you, I highly recommend checking out the marinade bowls.
Additional tips:
Put a little olive oil on it before shredding garlic to prevent sticking
Use a silicone basing brush to wipe the shredded food out
Don't clean with sponge use a bush or the dishwasher(sponge will get shredded)
